She was born in the beautiful coastline of Honduras inside one of her parents’ restaurants. Karla grew up in her family’s town of Rio Coto surrounded by lush mountains, and rivers. She spent most of her time playing on the beach. From a very early age she was able to grasp the powerful understanding of what customer service really is. Whether you are a business owner or employee you must understand that you are providing a service to your clients.
Entrepreneurship mentality has been part of her life since an early age. She gained experience in what are some of the fundamental rules in being successful regardless of the industry or business. She lives by the basic rules of the business world – “People want to do business with people they know, like, & trust”.
Her understanding of this basic golden rule has helped set her apart. People usually tell Karla that she is a lucky woman. A phrase on which she doesn’t agree with at least not to its entirety. Luck is only a small part of success. So far, she has only traveled to about 14 countries but her goal is to travel to at least 50 countries before she kicks her own bucket. She also enjoys the outdoors, kayaking, spending time on the beach, boating, bike riding, going to the movie theater, trying out new restaurants, drawing, and venturing out to new places. Music is also on top of the list when it comes to her favorite things, oh and she absolutely loves chocolates such as Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Snickers, or anything with dark chocolate & peanuts. Her three favorite songs are Calma by Pedro Capo, La Isla Bonita by Madonna & Can’t Help Falling In Love by UB40. Her two favorite movies are Ever After & The Count of Monte Cristo. With Karla there are no hidden agendas, what you see is exactly how she is.
